Job description :

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our IT strategy, ensuring the alignment with our core business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the technology stack required for managing motorway assets, with a particular focus on data network and IT security technologies. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in similar organizations, capable of leveraging technology to optimize asset management processes.

In this role you:

In coordination with the Group Holding company, develop and execute an IT strategy that supports the company’s strategic goals and operational needs.

Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems and infrastructure, with a focus on data network and IT security.

Lead the IT department, managing a team of professionals responsible for network administration, security, software development, and support.

Collaborate with other departments to identify, recommend, and implement technology solutions that improve asset management operations.

Oversee the management of IT vendors, contracts, and service agreements.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies relevant to motorway asset management.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to IT and data security.

Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment for technology initiatives.

Deliverables we expect:

The ideal candidate

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Extensive experience with data network and IT security technologies.

Proven track record in a similar organization, ideally within the asset management sector focusing on motorway or infrastructure assets.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

Italian is mandatory
